From childhood doodles to spinning tales that tug at the heartstrings (or at least try), storytelling has always been my thing. Growing up on Long Island’s north shore, my love for home and family weaves its way into everything I write.

Over the years, I’ve worn more hats than I can count—aspiring sportscaster, journalist, English teacher, librarian—but through it all, storytelling was my constant. Now that I’m officially retired from teaching (37 years was a good run!), my focus is on my family. These days, instead of running a library, you’ll catch me writing new books, coaching fellow authors, baking something sweet, or plotting my next big travel adventure.

My novels are a mix of the places I’ve been and the people I’ve met, all tied together with the idea that home—and love—are where we feel most content. My characters may hit some bumps in the road, but they always find their way to a happy ending…with a few swoon-worthy moments thrown in for good measure.

Family is my everything. My husband and kids keep me grounded, and my grandkids light up my days with their giggles. And let’s not forget my pack of three lovable (and mildly insane) dogs, who keep things exciting and my house perpetually covered in dog hair. It’s a beautiful kind of chaos.
