Gold Coast Book Fair is Long Island’s largest annual literary event, featuring 75+ authors, thousands of readers, panels, book signings, and a festive marketplace with food and vendors. Produced by the non-profit organization, Gold Coast Forum, the fair takes place over the course of one weekend with a Friday night kickoff event and a weekend fair in downtown Oyster Bay. General admission is free. Some events require a paid ticket. The Fair features activities for readers of all ages. Some of the authors we’ve hosted during our first two years, include: Tessa Bailey, Kevin Baker, Douglas Brinkley, Nick Bruel, Ron Chernow, Carla Hayden (former Librarian of Congress), Erik Larson, Alice McDermott, Massimo Pigliucci, Gretchen Rubin, Alex Segura, Art Shamsky, Russell Shorto, Lili Taylor & Jeffrey Toobin.
