Richard Panchyk is the author of more than 50 books, including dozens of titles on Long Island and New York City History. His latest local history book, 21st Century Long Island, is a visual history of some of the key events of the last 25 years. Richard is also the author of a thriller novel titled Andy Creighton is Dead, which was released in February 2026.
