Margarette Wahl, born and raised in Massapequa, New York on Long Island’s south shore. She works in Special Education over twenty-four years. She’s in involved in various poetry organizations on Long Island which include the Nassau County Poet Laureate Society as an advisor, on the board for Bards Initiative, and a cohost for the Performance Poets Association in East Meadow.
Margarette is published in a number of anthologies and has four chapbooks through Local Gems Press.

Her recent self-published book to her late high school crush End Credits a poetry memoir is available in person or on Amazon. All the proceeds go to the Montauk Historical Society and Museum in her late crush’s name, where you can also get a copy or see the plaque dedicated in his name.
She’s featured in Long Island Sounds, Walt’s Corner, Long Island Quarterly, Bards Annual Anthologies, Hey, Hey Books, Alien Buddha Press, Cooch Behar Magazine, Pink Trees Press. She is a Silver-Tongued Devil, in Rogue Scholars Press Anthology, Modesto-Stanislaus Writing Challenge for several years and more.
When Margarette is not writing, she is cuddling her rescued cats and following her favorite Boybands. She is a proud lover of things including being an Italophile, Anglophile, Judeophile, Xenophile, and more.
