Mahitab Mahmoud is an author and educator. Her debut short story collection, When Silence Shatters, explores moments of reckoning, resilience, and quiet resistance across Egypt and the diaspora. Her work centers women’s voices, identity, and the emotional cost of silence. Mahmoud teaches English Language Arts in New York and is passionate about storytelling as a tool for connection and healing.
