Jud Newborn is Founding Historian Emeritus of NY’s Museum of Jewish Heritage. Author of Sophie Scholl and the White Rose, he was honored by the Anne Frank Center with their Spirit of Anne Frank Award. He has written for The New York Times, Jerusalem Post and Smithsonian Magazine, and has presented his multimedia programs at the UN and internationally. He is also the two-time Emmy Award-winning Producer of Special Programs for LI’s Cinema Arts Centre.
