Barbara Daddino lives with her partner, Daniel Byrne, in Shoreham, Long Island, in the seaside cottage Nikola Tesla once lived in. She holds an MFA in creative writing from New York University. She taught English and creative writing at Commack Public Schools and creative writing at NYU. She was and associate editor for the Bellevue Literary Review. Her essays and movie reviews have appeared in Newsday and on PBS. She was also a featured guest in two PBS interviews about late-life divorce. She collaborated with Marc Seifer, author of Wizard, the Life and Times of Nikola Tesla on research for Tesla, Wizard at War and enjoys being an amateur history sleuth. In November she was invited to Serbia to accept the title of Tesla Ambassador by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Serbia.
