Al Isaacs is a retired comedian who was twice named Long Island’s Best Comedian by the Long Island Press. For more than twenty years, he performed and taught improvisational comedy at theaters, comedy clubs, and his alma mater, Hofstra University. His memoir, Finding Mary Smith, tells the remarkable true story of his gray market adoption and the amazing journey to find his birth family. He lives in New York with his wife, Theresa and son, Nick.
